Walking and hiking
Walking in Setesdal is something that has to be experienced. From a relaxing walk to the Gloppefossen waterfall to multiple-day hikes in the surriounding mountains, the Setesdal have something to offer for anyone. Maps and detailed descriptions can be obtained at the reception.
The Setesdal offers superb climbing. Within half an hour from the camping there are hundreds of bolted routes waiting to be explored. For more information visit: http://www.kletterninnorwegen.de/

There is good trout fishing in the river and the mountain lakes. A fishing license for the whole municipality can be bought at the kiosk, we also have a limited supply of fishing gear.
Explore the highlands with a canoe. Rent a Canadien style canoe and paddle from lake to lake in a vast wilderness area that is home to Europe’s most southern population of reindeer. A unique experience. Costs are 350 kr per canoe per day.
Kayaking for all ages on the river Otra, around the campsite. Kayaks can be borrowed for free at the reception (ask for a life jacket).
Boating and fishing
For those who love fishing we have rowing boats up in two mountain lakes with private fishing rights, catch the trout of a lifetime!
